Reading- We will be reading articles and listening to videos about natural disasters.
Language Arts- We will flash draft and write down all we know about natural disasters. Then we will begin to organize our writing and begin to research our topic.

Word Work- Students will continue to work with List 6 word-parts: arch, cent, graph, loc, ped/pod, and re.
Science- Students will begin Unit 2, Chapter 2, "Why aren't the cecropia trees growing and thriving?" Where in chapter one we looked at what made animals grow, in chapter two we will be looking at what makes plants grow. We will continue to be looking at how matter and energy move through an ecosystem.
Social Studies- Students will read and take Cornell notes on Lesson 8.2 "The Colonists Rebel." We will be discussing the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, and the Intolerable Act.
Math- Students will finish Unit 3. We will be practicing division and reviewing our unit. The unit test will be on Tuesday 2/25.
