A Look at this Week:

Science- Students will finish Lesson 15.3 on heat transfer.  We will take an open-note quiz on Thursday.

ELA
Reading- Students will continue to work on paraphrasing, note-taking, and looking at the structure of informational texts.

Language Arts- Students will begin researching and organizing information on natural disasters.

Word Work- Students will begin to work on Word Work List 5 word parts.

Math- Students are reviewing Unit 2 and will take a Unit 2 Test on Friday.

ELA
Reading- Students will begin Unit 2 on Natural Disasters, and will be going over the unit's essential questions.

Language Arts- Students will demonstrate their knowledge of informational writing.

Word Work- Students will continue to review Word Work Units 1-4.

Math- Students are beginning to multiply whole numbers and fractions.

Wednesday- 5th Grade Math MAPS testing
Thursday- 5th Grade Reading MAPS testing
