A Look at this Week:

Social Studies- Students will be taking web-notes on Lesson 5.4, "The 13 English Colonies." 

ELA
Reading- Students will be reading and discussing the book, Eight Days of Haiti.

Language Arts- Students will be responding to questions about the Eight Days of Haiti.

Word Work- Students will be working with vocabulary from the Eight Days of Haiti.

Math- Students will take their Unit 3 Test on Tuesday.

Important Dates

Monday- Rollerskating Party

Wednesday- World's Down's Syndrome Day, CAP Student Presentation

A Peek at next Week

A Look at next Week:

Social Studies- Students will be taking web-notes on Lesson 5.3, "The First Colonies," in Social Studies.

ELA
Reading- Students will continue to look at different types of text structure.  I have pushed the text structure assessment/quiz back to Wednesday. 

Language Arts- Students will be practicing having small group discussions, and will share their papers on natural disasters during a celebration we will have on Wednesday.

Word Work- Students take their Word Work List 6 Assessment on Friday.

Math- Students will begin Unit 3, Module 4 on division.  Students will practice modeling division problems.

Monday- First Day of Junior Achievement

Science- Students will read Lesson 5.3, "The First Colonies," in Social Studies.

Reading- Students will continue to look at different types of text structure, and take an assessment on text structure on Friday.

Language Arts- Students will write their final drafts on Natural Disasters and we will share them on Friday.

Word Work- Students finish Word Work List 6 slides in Google Classroom.

Math- Students will begin Unit 3, Module 3 on conversions.  Students will practice converting between different units of measurement.
