A Look at This Week:
ELA:
Reading- Students will be reviewing how to write the main idea or gist of the article or short story they read, compared to writing a summary.
Word Work- Students will work on their Word Work List 1 slides. List 1 word parts are: aqua, bio, man, uni, phono, and pre.
Writing- Students will be working on building their writing endurance in their Writer's Notebook
Math: Students will review place value, order of operations, and estimation.
Science: Students will begin our first unit: Patterns of Earth and Sky. We will take our pre-assessment on Tuesday.
Social Studies: Students will discuss the differences between primary and secondary sources.
