This
week the fifth grade "Too Good For Drugs" program will begin. Deputy Seward from
the DuPage County Sheriff's Department will be coming to our class on Thursdays to
discuss various topics of drug prevention. A letter explaining more about the
program will be sent home after our first session.
A Look at Next Week:
Spelling- We will be working on lesson 12, with a test on Friday.
Social Studies- We will review chapter six and have a test on Thursday.
Reading- Students will begin reading and discussing Jacob's Rescue in their literature groups.
Language Arts- Students will be taking their noun test on Tuesday.
Science- We will finish reading chapter six on "Ecosystems."
Mastny's Math- We will be learning about area and volume and will be taking a Chapter 24 test on Thursday.
