Reading- Students will finish reading their novels: Touching Spirit Bear; Bud, Not Buddy; and Crash. They will meet next week in small groups to discuss their books.
Language Arts- We will be looking at how we can add a flash-forward or flashback into our narratives.

Word Work- Students will work with List 5 word-parts: a/an, derma, port, dec, photo, struct.
Science- Students will continue to answer the question, "What makes animals grow?"
Social Studies- Students will continue to read Chapter 6, with our Trade Fair on Friday.
Math- Students will be working on adding and subtracting decimals, and reviewing place value with decimals (tenths, hundredths).
Monday- No School (Martin Luther King Day)
Wednesday- Field Trip- bring a lunch
Friday- Trade Fair
