Math
Volume Breakout!
A Look at this Week:
Science/Social Studies- We finished reading Lesson 4.1 "The Voyage of Columbus" and we will start to take web notes. Students will also research different parts of the Columbian Exchange.
ELA
Reading- Students will continue to practice writing reading response answers using our R(restate)A(answer)C(cite evidence)E(explain) strategy. We will also be looking at the story elements in A Boy Called Slow, and take a selection quiz on that reading on Friday.
Language Arts- Now that students have their seed idea for their narratives, they will be focusing on finding the heart of their stories, or what their stories are really about. Students will also be making sure that their narratives have a story arc, or all the elements that make up a short story.
