A Look at Next Week:
Social Studies- Students will have a Chapter 9 Test on Wednesday. Then we will be looking at Chapter 10 and the Preamble.
Science- We will begin reading Lesson 15.1 on Energy.
ELAScience- We will begin reading Lesson 15.1 on Energy.
Reading and Language Arts- We will be discussing Manifest Destiny, and analyzing the painting "American Progress." We will then discuss argumentative writing, and students will decide whether or not they will be for manifest destiny or against it.
Hardship in History- Essential Questions:
How does the time period of the hardship impact future decisions and events?
How are hardships in history similar and different?
Word Work- Students will be taking a quiz over List 12 on Thursday. (bene, flex/flect, ultra, voc, non, ortho.)
Math- Students will take a test over Unit 3 (Multiplication and Division strategies) on Thursday.
